The MALT (Mountain Ale and Lager Tasters) homebrew club welcomes you to Ashevegas! We’ve put together this guide to help you plan your trip, but realize this is just the tip of the iceberg and there are many more places to see, taste, and explore which may not be captured in this guide.
First let’s get the lay of the land. Homebrew Con is being held at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville. Asheville’s South Slope is easily accessible from the event center and is one of the country’s most walkable neighborhoods for breweries. All other areas to explore will require transportation. Along the French Broad River is the River Arts District home to working art studios and galleries as well as cafes, restaurants, music venues and, of course, breweries. West Asheville is known for eclectic small shops, retro-cool music venues, brunch spots and breweries.
Passport – what’s that? MALT members brewed collaborations with eight local breweries to celebrate Homebrew Con. MALT members brewed collaborations with local breweries to celebrate Homebrew Con. Check out these breweries for our beers (Here’s the brewery map)
